Sometimes, we say something with all our heart.
We make promises, we make statements that we hold dear.
And we know that every word is uttered with utmost sincerity.

At that point of time.

But then what we have don't always stay the same.
Things change, boundaries change.

It isn't that those promises and words were said in passing.
More than anything, they were said with pure seriousness.

But because of all the changes,
They no longer hold much meaning now.
Holding on to them, would only have undesirable consequences.
Holding on to them, forcing ourselves to keep to the pact, would only make us miserable because there's no way we can fulfil it.

I've never forgotten what you said that evening during the bbq. And I'll never forget either. Because what you said meant a lot, a lot. And its much appreciated.

But boundaries change,
And we shouldn't push our limits.

Because BubbleTea wants an update.

But I've got nothing to say.
There's too much going on in the mind,
My thoughts are paralysed.

You wanted to know what happened.
But 2007's over.
What's the point of talking about something that will never come back again.

Let's just say,
Sometimes even the smallest of promises can mean the world.
And when promises get broken a tad too often,
They arent the only thing that shatter.

And YOU.
I'm getting exhausted, so I'm leaving things here as it is.

No, I'm not unhappy.
I've stopped trying to put a name to my feelings.
Like what BubbleTea said, you should always laugh out loud.

I've yet to think back on `07 and conclude the year.
Maybe I just dont want to.
